Help On Legal Advice Please

My husband gotten a civil summons last year. The place wanted him to pay so much and so on. Of course we could not afford the whole big amount. Also on the paper saying we had 20 days to send in a defense letter to them. So I wrote one out, Told them the payments had to be monthly after everything else we paying on each month. I send the letter in along with the first money order. I Said I would keep my subs, track my payment down and make sure they cash it. Keep doing all this till the amount was paid off. So money order was cash, and a I send another one for Jan of this year. They cash that too. Now this morn he called to say they wanted his check garinshed, and also asking for more money like over another 1k for all. Which was not the amount they ask for the other times. I still have my stubs, and I call money gram and the woman said I can get a report of who cash the orders and what bank and so on. Should I do that and fight them ? Or there nothing I can do and just watch it come out of my husband pay each week ? Help
Answer1:yes i would fight it and i do hope you win - in case you dont for planning purposes they can garnish up to 25% of his salary!!!

Is this job legitimate

Im 15, and am interested in making some extra money.I stumbled on this online:https://secure.emillionaireinstitute.com...is it legit?thanks
Answer1:You have to be 18....and its asking you to "place an order". in other words, they want money FROM you in order for you to earn money.Dont waste your time. Theyre looking for suckers.Plus, all the blinking and flashing "Hurry!" signs just scream scam...and that little "count down" timer - about ordering in the next 9:50 (and counting) minutes? It re-sets every time you open the page.Dont be a sucker.
Answer2:Dont know - looks cheesy to me.
Answer3:Read the "fine print at the bottom"MUST be 18 years old to order.....You are outta luck.....
Answer4:This is making money from Google. I wouldnt recommend it to you if you are 15. Its all about putting ads on your website (you also need to be good in website building, graphics, marketing, etc.). I would recommend trying something else.
Answer5:Looks like a scam to me. You have to think when you see things like this:If they are paying this much for so little effort why isnt everyone doing it?Why do I have to pay before making money? Is this a scam?If you ask those questions before signing up for something, most likely, you shouldnt bother. There are no real work at home jobs. The only way you can make money at home is if youre the owner of your own company, or you work for a company that lets you work from home. :)
Answer6:no, you will wind up paying for stuff and it wont make you a dime.
Answer7:Should anyone conduct a google.com search for "secure.emillionaireinstitute.com" scam, it will bring up some 99 search results which simply state: Its a scam!Sorry about that.

Im 16 and want to no wot type of job i can get and how long can i work

I have just turned 16 last month and i am currently at school in my final year. how long can i work on a weekend and through holidays and after school
Answer1:There are loads of potential problems for youngsters in work, many of them law-related, parents need to be watchful about that. One thing you could try is making cash using your pc with SMC, a company sponsored by Tom Boswell of Happy Days (Howard Cunningham), check out the resource in the box below.
Answer2:You might want to improve your literacy skills if you want to impress potential employers. You might also want to consider thinking a bit more deeply about who will be able to give you the information you need - perhaps you could think about asking your local job centre or doing specific research on the internet instead of splurging a badly-spelt general question on a non-expert forum like Yahoo Answers.Being able to read and write accurately, and being able to work independently and with good sense, are two skills that will give you a real advantage as you look for work.
Answer3:At 16, you could get a job at pretty much any company, with an exception of very FEW retailers who only hires at 17. As for weekends and holidays, you could pretty much work twice as many hours as during school days. On school days, you could do 18 hrs a week.
Answer4:There are various things you could do...........work in a burger place, or on a market stall. English is not your forte, is it?!

Survey - Why do you work

1)What is the main reason you work?2) What is more important to you in a job; enjoyment or income? (i.e Would you keep a job even though you dont like it but it has very good income?)3)Would you work the same job for the rest of your life/until you retire?
Answer1:I work for living and if i just sit there i wont able to live well without moneyAll three income, enjoyment and job are important.Yes I will as i have said im working for living.
Answer2:I work bc I love mey job and bc it pays good. Given the choice, I would stay my whole life.
Answer3:1. To have money to live and support myself. Independence.2. No you gotta like what you do otherwise whats the point other than surviving youd stop living life to the full and wouldnt be overly happy.3. No I believe in experiences and lifes opportunities yet respect people who work the same job for many years.
Answer4:i work because i need money and because i love my job.. both of enjoyment and income are important to me.. and yes i would work the same job forever coz i really like it :)
      Answer5:earm momeyhttp://adloger.org/
Answer6:I work because I need the intellectual stimulation and sense of accomplishment. Income is of course important too, but I would work even if I didnt need to financially. The most important element to me in my job is learning and stimulation. If I felt like I wasnt progressing or figuring something out or learning something new I would do something else. Even though changing jobs periodically is good for your resume, I have stayed at jobs technically way too long because I enjoy what I do and the people I work with. I would stay with a job as long as it was fulfilling.

List of good paying online jobs for 13 year olds

im looking for a online job and i dont mean those GPT websites but an online jobs that pays well.
Answer1:Job searching can be a tricky job in itself, especially if youre not used to it. I was struggling with my job searching during the last couple of weeks until I stumbled upon the website in the box below, I didnt need a job in the end, because I earn a living from multiple streams of income now!
Answer2:I suggest you to try project payday, simply because you dont need any money up front and you can start making money within minutes. I average around 2,500 dollars every month with it. Check it out at http://www.flawlessbusiness.com/cgi-bin/...
Answer3:http://safesurveysites.com Its what I do and its worked out pretty well. What you have to do is complete surveys and offers for companies that want the publics opinion. No payment from you is ever required, not to sign up, not EVER. The sites dont get paid directly from you, but when you complete an offer or survey, they also get paid a small portion of what you earned yourself. For example, if you complete a survey about computers lets say, you would earn maybe $2 and the web site itself would recieve $0.50 from the company also for getting you to complete the survey. These surveys take little time at all, most taking up less than even 1 or 2 minutes of your time. They don’t need any information other than your name, email address and your home address. Yup, that is all. No credit card information, no banking information, nothing like that. All they require is your name and address so that your cheque can be sent to your home every month.Personally I have been a member of these websites, along with thousands of other satisfied users, for approximately 1.5 years now and have earned well over $8600 by working in my spare time. This web site has been great to me, also the members and administrator are very friendly, and are always there to help you with a question or problem you may be having. I give you my word that they pay.

What do I wear to a job interview at an Italian restaurant

a suit withe dress shoes and a tie.
Answer1:As with most restaurants, wear a nice skirt of dress or dress pants and a nice blouse if you are a girl. If you are a boy, wear a nice suit and tie and of course in both cases, nice dress shoes.
Answer2:White dress shirt, black tie, black slacks and polished shoes. (Im assuming youre a guy. If youre a woman, just dont go in there looking like a slob.
Answer3:Italians are verrrrrryyyy conscious of the way they dress. I suggest you look extremely snappy. Even if you think youre over doing it, dress very smart. White is always good as it makes you look clean, but black can also have a good impression too.good luck
Answer4:I would say dress shirt and dress pants but it depends what you were applying for. If you were applying to be a waiter then I would see what the waiters wore and wear that! Not the exact same but say the waiters wore a white dress shirt, black dress pants and a black tie, then you could wear the same thing but with a yellow dress shirt. If you were applying to be a cook you probably dont need to dress up as much but look clean.
Answer5:1. A BIG *** MUSTACHE 2. very oily/greasy well kept hair (slicked back)3. a wife beater under a nice button down shirt (chest hair must be visible)4. patten Italian leather shoes.5. black dress pants and have that shirt tucked in but have half of it sticking out.*** bust in the door and stick your thumbs out and sayAAAAYYYYY!

Question about this interview

I went to a Labor Dept today and filled out an application.. there were 8 other people there. Well with our regular application we got a "new hire" packet, about 40 pages of forms to fill out (I-9, backgrounds, handbook, etc).. well after we filled out the regular application a guy briefly interviewed us.. During my interview he asked how far it was a drive to the location and I said "40 minutes" And he asked if I had any problems getting there and I said "no".. well he looks up at the other HR lady and says.. "Im gonna call you at this number, we need to do your background check.." I asked him about the "new hire" packet and he said to take it with me. Well as I left the building, the 7 other people were sitting there filling out the new hire packets, he instructed them to go fill them out but told me to bring mine home? WTH?Whats going on?
Answer1:Job applications are always tough - how should you fill them out? Should you chase them up when there is no reply? I suppose theres no true answer. Maybe you wont need an application, check out the site in the box below, it shows you how to make cash from multiple streams of income. I started a couple of months ago, now I earn more than my regular job!

Is it better apply for a job online or in person

I am 18years old, and I do not have work experience .Please I need help!!!!!How to ask for a job in person? Any idea????
Answer1:in person is always better. BUT weirdly enough every job I got was a result of an online application. its really just luck, a matter of who is hiring at the moment and who isnt. good luck with your job search!
Answer2:It is better in person then online because once you read all the job postings online, most of them do say that they want experience. So, go to your local store that you regularly shop at, dress nicely and ask for the manager or an application. Your favorite store always 99% of the time do hire their customers.Good luck.

Are job search engines such as monstercom or careerbuildercom the best way to find jobs

How else would I find a job or get a company to hire me? Im graduating from college in May, and Ive used monster some but so far I havent heard anything.
Answer1:Depends on the college. If you graduated from a 4 year college then try temp agencies to gain some experience. If all you have is an Associates degree then try Craigslist. Networking also is the best way in this tough economy. Good luck.
Answer2:Take advantage of all search engine options. They are the primary source of opportunities. Make sure your resume is sharp. Get it professionally done. And make sure your resume is not private on these search engines. Employers will shop through the public resumes. Networking is an important tool when seeking a position. Since you are just graduating you dont have a lot of people to draw from but your family may know someone in your field who knows of positions you might be just right for. Do you have friends in college who know people in your field they could introduce you to? Networking is about using friends, family, co-workers, or previous employers to get ins into your career choice. You can also be pro-active and go direct to a business. Find out who the person in charge of hiring your particular position is ahead of time and send a cover letter and resume to them. There just might be a position available or coming up. Jobs are tough right now with many people applying so dont get discouraged.

Job interview advice

I have a job interview this morning. Problem is i have to have a day off a week later. I got a speeding ticket 6 months ago and did deferred adjudication. I have to go out of town to turn in some papers to the court...i actually have to be there, i cant mail it. there is no way i can miss having the day off. it can not be rescheduled.so how do i tell the new job i need a day off basically a week after i start? do i wait til i get offered the job or do i bring that up if they ask if i have any questions?
Answer1:First of all, I would wait until the job is offered. At that point I would explain that I have a doctors appointment that cant be missed. If that doesnt work, let me know. Excuses come to me quickly... but, Ive got to go... have to see a man about a dog.

Why cant i get a job

im a 19 year old beautician from staffs, im attractive, smart, presentable and very career driven and yet i cant get a job anywhere! i am aware that due to the current climate salons are not hiring any more staff at the moment but as for reception work, P/As, customer service no body wants me!i come from a gooid background and my mom has raised me with my head screwed on, as she runs her own business but because of the recession cannot employ me at the moment.please HELP! does anyone have any suggestions? i live in staffordshire?
Answer1:Do you get interviews? If not, then maybe re-work your C.V a bit. Dont just send the same C.V off to every job - make sure that your skills are tied in to the requirements of the new role. Think of all the things you have done in you current job, and think about how they might be useful in the job you are applying for. Overlook nothing! Also, write good covering letters which express why you want the job and what you can bring to the party (for any job, even the small ones).Maybe go see some recruitment consultants and let them help you? They can also give you lots of application advice if you ask them (though dont follow everything they say if it doesnt quite right!)Plenty of C.V advice online. In these times, you need to be a bit more savvy because there are a lot of people looking for jobs out there.Good luck!
Answer2:Well, I might not know much but I am 16 and I cannot find a job right now either. Because of the current hiring freeze and the low economic balance of the United States, employment has become a much harder thing to come by. I would suggest looking at a job website near your area and searching for the salon critique. If that doesnt work then try to expand your horizons on the job you want, as in look for salons a little farther away, just something to get you started. Many people run salons out of their homes too, but Im not completely sure how much good that would do you.
Answer3:Now, the Time Has Came That you Can Earn Even 44$ In Just 60 Secs http://homebiznuss.com/livejobs.html And the Amazing Thing About This System IS That This System Is Free To Join. You Can Also Join More Then One Online Money Making Programs To INcrease Your Income Within Seconds.(So, Good Luck And Have Nice Earnings THere).
Answer4:I agree with MUNRO, you need to change your cv if you are not getting job interviews. I went through that faze and when I changed my cv, i.e one for Consultant Vacancies and one for Legal Assistant, then I was able to send different Cvs forward for different vacancies. You should not limit yourself on one area, broaden your horizens, do some volunteer work, or maybe you have enough experience, that you just want to find a job. Send speculative letters out, but choose your companies carefully. Good luck

What are some jobs that I would qualify for with a Masters Degree in Hospitality Management

I am at a total loss in regards to the career choices out there in this field. I really want to focus on special event planning but there are no jobs out there for special events. Those that I found want you to start from the bottom. I cant imagine starting over at this point in my life. Any suggestions?
Answer1:If you have a degree - or any alternative qualification - then youll already be in front of of the masses when it comes to looking for jobs. My buddy has a degree and he wasnt certain what direction to go with it, eventually he went in a completely different direction, he earns his keep from Google. Have a look at the site below.

What are some good paying jobs

im 21 years old and im living at home with my dad and my gf and i desparately want to move out and get our own place and i want to go to school but i dont know what i want to do. im not good at math but im great at english and science anybody go any suggestions or advice?
Answer1:Check it out here. It’s an excellent site with some wonderful options for you. It will definitely help you. Have a look.http://workathome-sa.blogspot.com/
Answer2:I would suggest just like the other people who have posted already to find something to do online. The economy is bad and finding a job right now is very hard. Having English skills is very important because you need to be able to communicate very well through writing. You must be very careful out there. I have only found one program out there that puts all of the pieces of the puzzle together for someone to start making money quickly with video details and the blue prints of how to do things exactly. If you follow what they teach you could be supporting your dad and gf. This is really no joke. You will learn more then just google adwords but you could write articles and even your own book and market it online. The internet is always changing and they will teach you to stay on the forefront. My gift to you is this link in the sources. If you are serious I would check it out. You wont be sorry.

Anyone in the field of Mental HealthHow easydifficult to find a jobHELP

Any one who is in the field of Mental Health? Im looking in to Master programs in mental health and I like to get some information about how difficult it would be to find a job? How much I would make after my graduate school?Any advise? ideas? Thanks
Answer1:I think there are a lot of opportunities in counseling or therapy for people with a masters. You can work in clinics, group practices, or even private practice, and of course there are several subspecialties; for counseling you could do for example family counseling, substance abuse, marriage counseling, social work, etc. and for therapy there is occupational therapy (which requires a specific OT degree), autism therapy (usually ABA), etc.I think it would be easier to find a job in either urban or suburban areas, but pretty much anywhere there are people... and there is some demand. You should be able to make a decent salary, you wont be rich but it should be around or above the national average salary (~50,000$)hope this helps!

I am trying to up date my resume, but there is a problem in that I do not remember dates

Also some places no longer exist and I was stupid and did not keep accurate record of my work history.I want to get a really good job, but need this for my resume. Also how to get old addresses of the places I lived.
Answer1:talk to your friends and relatives, my grandmother has all of my addresses for the last 10 years, you also my be able to contact social security or the IRS, employers and you would have had to give them information, not sure if they can retrieve it for you but is worth a shot if all else fails, good luck
Answer2:When I was conducting interviews, I never once contacted any employers listed on a resume except the current employer. If you are currently unemployed, an interviewer may contact your place of most recent employment.Fo a resume, all you need to list is the name of the employer and the city/state. Also, I dont recall ever seeing a resume where past home addresses were listed. Unless youre applying for a federal (CIA or FBI) or some law enforcement jobs (where I know they look deeply into not only your past but your family too), you do not need to concern yourself with the fine details on a resume.
Answer3:I understand - I worked at a job for 7 years and then I was laid off and couldnt find my resume and couldnt remember my information. It was a pain but I figured it out using a combination of the following methods.1. First write down the names of the companies you worked for and get phone numbers for them. You can look up their phone # using the yahoo yellow pages and/ or Hoovers.com to help you with your search.2. Once you get their phone number call them and tell the receptionist that answers that "I need to verify employment for Your Name". Usually the companys receptionist will transfer you to their Human Resources or Payroll Department. Then you just tell the clerk that answers "I need to verify employment for Your Name" again. This is the very same way that a Loan Officer or New Employer would verify your employment. Sometimes the HR/ Payroll clerk will ask for your social secuirty number to find your information - this is a common practice used for security - you can give it to them. Once they find your file they will tell you your Job title and dates of employment and you can ask questions about it if you need to. NOTE: Sometimes the receptionist will give you a phone number to an outside company that keeps track of their employees files for them, instead of transferring you to the Human Resources department. These companies charge a fee to verify employment, however getting your own employment information should always be free. When you call these types of companies make sure to let them know you are calling to verify your own information. Sometimes these companies will give you the employment dates by phone and other times for privacy reasons they will only mail it to you. IF YOU CANT FIND THE PHONE NUMBER FROM YOUR PREVIOUS EMPLOYER: Try to see if the employer went out of business, or got bought by another company. You can sometimes yahoo or google the employer and a news or business article will come up telling the story of what happened to the company. If it was bought by another company you can try verifying your employment with them. If the company went out of business and there is no contact info then try the steps below.3. If you cannot find the company at all then you could try and check to see if you have your old tax statements - W-2s etc. and then would at least know the years of your employment. As a last resort you can contact the Social Security Office and ask for a "Request for Social Security Earnings Information" Form. They will mail this form to you and then you complete it and pay them a fee of anywhere from $20-150 depending on how many years back you need them to go and they will send you a list of your employers with dates. This usually takes about a month.4. FOR OLD ADDRESSES : Order a copy of your credit report. A lot of times they have address over 20 years old. I reccommend paying for one at Experian.com(usually around $15) Dont use the free credit bureau sites as they do not always include the address history information. Hope this helps.

For the last year and a half my business partner and I have been working on our business idea, Bowling alley, we are both 22 and we live in sligo ireland, where we lived we noticed we had pretty much everything from cafes to shopping centres to clothes shops, bars and restuarants etc, but no real leisure facilitys so we thought a bowling alley would be great, not long ago our local paper printed an article on how our town needs a bowling alley so this got us excited as we knew we have a market and it would be a success, we have done courses, completed a very good business plan with projections and all market research added, only thing is we are both 22 and have little money,we have been saving but we only have €10,000 to date so we needed help regarding investment to get this thing moving,we set up meetings with our local enterprise board and although they think its a great idea, they cant give grants to our kind of business, its got to be manufacturing for them to give any kind of grant aid, so this leaves us with the banks, I spoke to a good friend who works in a local bank and told him how we need €120,000 to get this open and he said there is no way any bank would give us that amount, not in todays climate,no chance,so we thought last chance saloon is a private investor,we have put our idea on a investment site, based for ireland and the uk but after 5 people being interested we have heard nothing back from these, its been very frustrating for us as we know we have a business that could be very successful, yet we cant seem to get the help, we have had every door shut in our face, to make things worse there is rumour going around that some fat cat business man with big pockets is thinking of opening one and has applied for planning, so after all our hard work and dedication, thats it gone as we cant think of what else to do ... i feel so deflated and down to be honest, life eh!
Answer1:Have you done all your sums? A business such as a bowling alley would be highly dependent on returning customers, especially if its not in a major population centre.Do you know what percentage of locals are regulars at similar alleys in Ireland? What is you catchment area? What about running costs, insurance, licensing costs, protection money? Recruitment costs, publicity? Could you survive a similar attraction being opened nearby? If you have the answers to all of this, people will listen.
Answer2:hey im so sorry to hear that, but you guys are close friends , dont worry, try to getter more money, increase your capital and one day you will be able to do it, it doesnt matter there will be 2 places, there will be a kind of competition b/w.taxi drivers make allot i heard, you buy taxi and rent it further, and drive taxi your self, i heard in few years he didnt drive taxi any more because owned so many and had rented them out. hope it helpgood luck

Answer4:Great Idea!First off you talked to a friend that works at a bank. Thats not the same thing as applying for a loan and making a presentation to a bank officer. Second, triple check your figures they seem a bit steep to me. Your familiarity with the financial side will go a long ways to convincing a bank officer that you know what you are talking about and they will be less reticent to loan money to someone who has done their homework.Third, have you considered going to the manufacture of the bowling equipment to either subsidize or partner your project? They have a vested interest in you buying their equipment. At the very least they would be a great source of information and might be able to give you additional ideas. Note: I said manufacture not a supplier or agent. Consider have a fund raiser to bring your initial investment capital up.Go to your family and ask them for a loan or to buy shares.Work on your presentation, you need to be able to talk fluently about your project and be able to answer any questions that a prospective investor might come up with. Like what kind of maintenance is normally required to keep the equipment working? What type of permits will you need to meet local regulations? You should be as well versed in bowling and the business side of your project as you can be to put forth a good intelligent image this will negate any question of your age.Keep pushing. Dont get discouraged your problem will be solved around the next corner. Good Luck!

Termination from work on the 26th jan

been terminated due to health given 2 weeks notice with fullpay but not recieved any money yet only p45 what do i do tried phoning but sed they are dealing with it but still no payment
Answer1:You mention a P45, so Im assuming you are in the UK. My advice would be to speak to them and ask for some kind of time frame as to how long you should be waiting. Anything related to government or NHS is notoriously slow in the UK, so dont expect it to be dealt with quickly. Dont drop the issue though, tell them youre stuck with no money and play the sympathy card. I know it sounds cynical, but just try anything to get them moving. Good luck!

Answer3:You should receive the pay on whenever your normal pay date was. They are not obligated to pay you any sooner. The absolute worst-case scenario for you would be if (as mine is) your normal pay date is the 25th of the month, in which case they could reasonably expect you to wait until 25 February (being the next 25th to occur). However, it is unusual to receive a P45 before your last pay has gone through. You shouldnt get a P45 until all payments have been made. So, sounds like perhaps they are going to try not to pay it. I would just keep phoning!

Hi anyone knows the answer to thisam not sure which category suits it best

someone i know is working on a spousal scheme and her work permit expires in a couple of mths time. Her husband has been made redundant some mths back and is job hunting. In order for her to renew her work permit she will need to submit his copy of work authorisation which is still valid till 2010. Her concern now is whether she will be able to continue to work with his validity? Will she be able to renew her work permit?
Answer1:She could try contacting the consulate, they should have a website or telephone number where she can speak to someone who should be able to tell her the correct answer.
Answer2:dude just spell months! you spelled authorization wrong too!
