I have a job interview this morning. Problem is i have to have a day off a week later. I got a speeding ticket 6 months ago and did deferred adjudication. I have to go out of town to turn in some papers to the court...i actually have to be there, i cant mail it. there is no way i can miss having the day off. it can not be rescheduled.so how do i tell the new job i need a day off basically a week after i start? do i wait til i get offered the job or do i bring that up if they ask if i have any questions?
      Answer1:First of all, I would wait until the job is offered. At that point I would explain that I have a doctors appointment that cant be missed. If that doesnt work, let me know. Excuses come to me quickly... but, Ive got to go... have to see a man about a dog.
